FIFA World Cup 26™ is a generational opportunity to leverage the game of soccer—and the momentum created through this global event—to maximize social impact. As part of our commitment to growing the game, Philadelphia Soccer 2026 has partnered with the U.S. Soccer Foundation to create more equitable access and opportunities for children in Pennsylvania. In support of the partnership, Philadelphia Soccer 2026 will invest $2 million in youth soccer initiatives.
26 for 26
Leveraging the U.S. Soccer Foundation’s 30 years of experience in driving community impact, we will activate 26 soccer-related projects throughout the state—ranging from creating new safe places to play to expanding existing programming — ensuring kids across the region benefit from the beautiful game.
The Projects
Built Environment Projects
PS2026 will collaborate with the U.S. Soccer Foundation to identify built environment projects (mini-pitches) designed to improve access and provide safe places to play.
Programming Projects
PS2026 will support core U.S. Soccer Foundation programming initiatives such as Soccer for Success and Coach-Mentor Training.
- Soccer for Success improves overall kids' well-being by building physical, social, and emotional skills.
- Coach-Mentor Training equips coaches and teachers with youth development skills designed to create lasting connections with players.
Legacy Endowment
In partnership with the U.S. Soccer Foundation, PS2026 will establish an endowment for Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer (EPYS) and PA West Soccer, allowing those organizations to present annual awards that honor the legacy and spirit of FIFA World Cup 26 in Pennsylvania
